Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join their team. This full-time role involves managing a portfolio of client payrolls on a monthly or weekly basis, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll records. Job Duties:
- Process a portfolio of client payrolls, including:
- Collating timesheets and relevant payroll records.
- Inputting timesheets into the payroll system.
- Calculating pay for the period.
- Preparing payroll reports for review and approval.
- Providing clients with payroll reports and payslips in a timely manner.
- Updating and maintaining client employee information as required.
- Ensuring all necessary information is held for each payroll client and their employees.
- Filing CER/ETI/SS returns within required timeframes.
- Assist with general team administration as capacity allows.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge of current payroll legislation and statutory regulations in the Channel Islands.
- Team player with the ability to work independently, showing initiative and a proactive approach.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, planning, and organising skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Windows software and computer-based payroll software.
