Our client is seeking a File Reviewer to join their Operations team within the Trust Company Business. This role is based in Jersey and involves conducting periodic and ongoing reviews of administered client entities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. The successful candidate will report to the Periodic Review Manager and will work closely with the Client Services Directors to identify deficiencies and ensure that any gaps are efficiently addressed. Job Duties:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and ensure consistent standards in file reviews.
  • Adhere to all applicable legislation and regulations, with a focus on AML/CFT laws and TCB codes of conduct.
  • Review client profiles, statutory records, structure charts, and financial statements to identify and report deficiencies.
  • Ensure that supporting documentation is appropriately saved in the database.
  • Highlight any gaps in client inventories and raise review points for administrative teams to address.
  • Assist the Periodic Review Manager in preparing reports and developing review checklists.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CPD requirements of 15 hours annually.
  • Efficiently manage communications and follow up on any matters arising.
  • Work closely with other members of the Review Team and Assurance Team to maintain review standards.
  • Keep accurate timesheets as required.
  • Proactively identify personal development needs and attend relevant training sessions.
  • Carry out any ad-hoc duties related to the role.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience within the Trust and Company Business (TCB) space.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work calmly under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Sound judgement and logical problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in a disciplined manner.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Appropriate and accurate use of systems.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
