Temporary Data Input Administrator - 6 months

Our client is seeking a highly organised Network Operations Administrator to join their Guernsey office on a full-time, fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management and Operations, this role involves providing essential administrative support to the Operations teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including handling purchase orders, managing spreadsheets, liaising with suppliers and customers, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies. Job Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the network department, including:
  • Handling purchase orders and invoices.
  • Populating and distributing plant output spreadsheets and graphs.
  • Scanning and managing documentation such as daily round sheets, call out sheets, and visitor logs.
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers.
  • Updating daily stock sheets and spreadsheets.
  • Assisting in the preparation of end-of-month statistics.
  • Managing catering for visitors and meetings.
  • Handling phone calls and messages.
  • Managing road closures and job updates.
  • Overseeing personal welfare tasks such as holidays, sickness, and rotas.
  • Ensure safety within the scope of control, following Company Health & Safety policies.
  • Identify and implement performance and productivity improvements.
  • Stay updated on relevant technical innovations.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages and database systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to propose ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to observe and adhere to the Company’s Data Protection Policy.
