Associate Director, Real Estate

Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director for their Fund Administration team, with a focus on real estate. The successful candidate will support the directors in managing the business and overseeing a team of managers and administrators responsible for delivering client services across a portfolio of fund, trust, and corporate investment structures. Job Duties:

  • Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the global fund services strategic plan, business plan, and goals.
  • Monitor, manage, motivate, recruit, and develop staff, ensuring ongoing training to enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Coordinate the team to deliver the highest standard of client service, ensuring key client deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Foster positive and long-lasting client relationships, acting as a key point of contact between clients and the company.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing in accordance with client contracts, conducting fee reviews, and managing fee debtors.
  • Generate business development opportunities across the company’s business lines and coordinate the on-boarding of new clients where applicable.
  • Maximise the use of the company’s global fund services technology, ensuring it supports the ongoing development of client services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, managing business risk effectively.
  • Act as an authorised signatory and director on the boards of client companies, as required.
  • Provide expertise, advice, and guidance to the team and business, participating in committees and working groups as necessary.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of Table 4 from the Codes of Practice of Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998.
  • Ideally, at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with a professional qualification such as a lawyer, chartered accountant, chartered surveyor, or ICSA.
  • Operational experience in fund, trust, and/or company management/administration.
  • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
