Temporary Trust & Corporate Manager - 9 - 12 months

Our client is seeking a Trust & Corporate Manager to oversee the Trust & Corporate Administration services in Jersey. This full-time role involves managing new entity incorporations, company secretarial duties, and providing expert guidance to the firm. Job Duties:

  • Manage referrals from Partners and fee earners to ensure timely service
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with CDD requirements
  • Manage corporate administration tasks such as incorporation, directorship appointments, and company secretarial duties
  • Ensure all documentation meets standards and is submitted to the JFSC Registry on time
  • Lead the maintenance of statutory books, registers, and records
  • Handle invoicing and liaise with the finance department
  • Identify and escalate risk issues with suggested mitigation
  • Oversee periodic and ad hoc client reviews, ensuring sign-offs are obtained
  • Manage the maintenance of the database for all Directorships, Trusteeships, and related services
  • Prepare reports for the Board and respond to urgent reporting requests
  • Manage data provision for National Risk Assessments and JFSC reviews
  • Develop and maintain procedures for formation and administration processes
  • Manage relationships with third parties, such as banks and corporate service providers
  • Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert on systems like Viewpoint

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of trust and company administration experience
  • Solid understanding of offshore corporate structures and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with Jersey company incorporations, foundations, and limited partnerships
  • Law firm experience is desirable
  • Professional qualification under the JFSC's Category C (e.g. Foundation degree in Finance, Certificate in Offshore Administration)
  • Working towards or holding a Table 4 qualification (e.g. Fellow of ICSA, Diploma of STEP) is desirable
