Client Director, Client Services

Our client is seeking a Client Director within the trust company business sector. The role involves administering a portfolio of managed trusts, companies, and foundations while managing the Client Group. This is a full-time position based in Jersey. The Client Director will be responsible for leading the client service team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering strong client relationships. Job Duties: 

  • Administer a portfolio of trusts, companies, and foundations, liaising with clients, banks, and investment managers
  • Lead and manage the Client Group, ensuring workloads are handled effectively
  • Train and develop junior staff, providing regular performance management
  • Monitor time charging, invoicing, and cash collection for the Client Group
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and relevant legislation, including AML/CFT/CPF
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and participate in risk management processes
  • Attend client and advisor meetings, including off-island travel as needed
  • Support the development of new business and collaborate with directors on operations activities
  • Maintain and develop relationships with professional advisors and third parties
  • Represent the company at marketing events and functions
  • Ensure accurate completion of statutory filings (FATCA/CRA, Jersey and UK tax, BOC returns)
  • Manage working capital, including billing and chargeable time targets


Job Requirements: 

  • Must fulfil a ‘JFSC - Senior Manager Function’
  • Capable of receiving JFSC no-objection as a Principal Person
  • Functioning as a Category A Employee under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law, 1998 and Code 3
  • Category “A” signatory on the authorised signatory list
  • Minimum of five years relevant experience
  • Hold a Table 4 qualification (e.g., STEP Diploma, ICAEW, ACCA)
  • Commitment to completing 25 hours of CPD per annum
