Senior Administrator, Client Services

Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator within the Client Services function of their Trust Company Business. This role involves working closely with Client Directors and their team to deliver efficient and timely client service functions for a larger portfolio of clients, including those with more complex needs. The position requires a proactive approach to client engagement and regulatory adherence. This is a full-time position based in Jersey, with opportunities for professional development and qualification.

Job Duties:

  • Administer a portfolio of trusts, companies, and foundations, liaising with clients, banks, and investment managers as required.
  • Maintain day-to-day relationships with clients, including attending meetings and delivering finalised transactions.
  • Ensure administration is conducted in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Uphold a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, particularly in relation to AML/CFT laws.
  • Engage actively in risk management practices and adhere to the company’s risk appetite.
  • Participate in the DayBox process for reviewing and authorising client activities and transactions.
  • Collaborate with the Client Group to complete new business documentation and onboarding processes.
  • Prepare accurate minutes for client entity transactions.
  • Record time accurately in PlainSail, meeting chargeable time targets.
  • Manage cash collections related to billing and debt collection promptly and effectively.
  • Complete periodic Client Risk Assessments and attend seminars, presentations, and events as appropriate.
  • Take responsibility for personal development, including fulfilling CPD requirements based on agreed performance objectives.
  • Champion and model the company’s values and behaviours.

Job Requirements:

  • Eligibility for registration as a Category C Employee under the Trust Company Business Code of Practice.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Either holding or working towards a Table 5 qualification.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to Jersey Trust Company Business.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with an enquiring approach.
  • Excellent task and diary management skills, focusing on task completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with confidence to engage with individuals at all levels of seniority.
  • Proficient and accurate use of relevant systems.
