Client Relationship Manager, Corporate Services

Our client is seeking a Client Relationship Manager within their Corporate Services team to manage all aspects of administration and company secretarial matters for a group of corporate structures. Job Duties: 

  • Act as the principal contact for clients and directors regarding administrative and company secretarial matters.
  • Liaise with legal and professional advisers to ensure timely completion of client-driven transactions.
  • Review and produce client deliverables and reports, addressing a varied range of client queries and onboarding new business.
  • Act as a signatory on administrative matters, including payments, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate directors' diaries to confirm dates for board/client meetings and arrange necessary facilities.
  • Supervise the collation of board papers and create agendas and board packs for directors.
  • Attend and present at board and committee meetings, reviewing and/or producing formal minutes.
  • Oversee submissions through myRegistry, including beneficial ownership and control, company incorporations, and annual confirmation statements.
  • Maintain various registers, including directors, shareholders, partnership interests, and conflicts of interest.
  • Conduct AML reviews and investor KYC procedures.
  • Participate in and lead periodic staff appraisals, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Delegate tasks thoughtfully while assisting in the training and development of junior staff.
  • Apply internal risk management procedures and ensure team compliance.
  • Uphold and convey company values and ethos.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Professionally qualified or part qualified in ICSA/ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial services environment.
  • Advanced accounting and/or administration skills, alongside some legal knowledge.
  • Understanding of corporate tax and tax-related matters.
  • A respectful and inspiring attitude, capable of taking the lead.
  • High levels of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality due to the nature of the work.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on timely and accurate work completion.
  • Proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, and Access, as well as standard business software.
  • Familiarity with specific accounting software is essential.
  • Flexible and able to work under time pressures.
  • Ability to manage one’s workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Awareness of decision-making limits and risk management.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements versus information sharing.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset.
