Our client is seeking a Head of Crewing to play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing the onboarding process, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The Head of Crewing will lead the day-to-day administration of crew employment and payroll functions, while supporting, coaching, and training the team. This full-time role also involves representing the company at industry events, preparing business proposals, and providing support to the local Director during periods of absence. Job Duties:
- Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions
- Assist the Contracts Team with client due diligence and review of service agreements
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction
- Promote long-lasting relationships between clients and the team
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and enhance overall client experience
- Ensure clear communication with clients about updates and new offerings
- Supervise crewing team administrators and provide in-house training
- Keep internal procedures, policies, and crew document templates up to date
- Liaise with clients and captains on crewing matters beyond the Assistant Managers' or Administrators' responsibility
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and yacht shows
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of new business proposals
- Oversee the administration of crew employment and payroll tasks
- Keep up to date with industry changes and report to the management team when necessary
- Assist with internal procedures manual updates and quality monitoring
- Provide coaching and support to junior team members
- Attend management team meetings in the absence of the local Director
- Perform any other duties reasonably required
Job Requirements:

- High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Cello Marine payroll software
- A minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience
- Strong understanding of international and national seafarer certification regulations
- Excellent knowledge of seafarer employment law
- Deep understanding of the services offered by the group
