Job Duties:
- Assist in setting up and maintaining statutory records, including directors’ and shareholders’ meeting minutes and trustee resolutions.
- Respond to client requests promptly and positively, delivering high-quality service.
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for companies and trusts to trial balance.
- Liaise with bankers regarding money remittance, deposit accounts, and investment transactions.
- Open trust and company bank accounts.
- Work with brokers on investment transactions and settlement instructions.
- Develop knowledge of limited company formation and trust setup, with training support.
- Ensure timely documentation delivery for client review processes.
- Accurately maintain timekeeping records within the PlainSail system.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade C or above.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Organised and able to plan effectively with keen attention to detail.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach to work.
- Proactive, professional, and committed to best practice.
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Capability to meet deadlines and complete work in a timely manner.
- Eagerness to learn and pursue professional development if desired.
- Proficient in IT.
