Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accounts Officer to join their team in delivering comprehensive fiduciary and financial services to a diverse portfolio of Trust, Company, and Private Client relationships. Job Duties:
- Prepare Trust and Company accounts in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain records to meet filing deadlines for tax and regulatory obligations.
- Review and reconcile financial records, including bank accounts and investment portfolios, and resolve queries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Provide technical support on accounting matters to in-house teams.
- Proactively implement and refine systems, procedures, and standards for compliance.
- Prepare accounts for in-house companies as necessary.
- Liaise with investment managers, bankers, and other professionals as needed.
- Assist with ad hoc assignments and projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and anti-money laundering practices.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar accounting role.
- Part-qualified or willingness to study towards a professional qualification (AAT, CAT, ACCA, ICA).
- Strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to tasks.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Effective oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a busy team environment.
- Proficiency with IT packages, DMS systems, and other databases; experience with NAVOne is advantageous.
