Temporary Document Management Administrator - 2-3 months

Our client is seeking a temporary Document Management Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis for an initial period of 2-3 months. This role involves managing incoming correspondence, updating patient records, and ensuring efficient document distribution. Job Duties:

  • Manage and distribute incoming documents and courier deliveries, assigning them to relevant Clinical and Administration staff.
  • Update patient records with new diagnoses, personal details, and other relevant information.
  • Participate actively in the 'Practice Improvement Plan' and maintain collaborative and open communication within the team.
  • Read code medical information into patient records accurately.
  • Engage in Health and Safety and Risk Management training, staying up to date with best practices.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of administration experience, ideally with some background knowledge in medical administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and typing skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
