Our client is seeking a Senior Funds and AML Services Take-On Administrator to join their newly established global Fund and AML Services Take-On team. The role involves handling a variety of compliance and risk management tasks to meet regulatory obligations and support the firm’s risk management objectives. You will play a key role in onboarding and assessing investor business types, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and data protection standards across various jurisdictions. Job Duties:
- Onboard and risk assess investor business types, applying CDD exemptions where applicable
- Collaborate with global client take-on teams to collect CDD seamlessly and support team training
- Work with fund administration team members during the client and investor take-on and periodic review process
- Ensure effective communication between the business, GCTOT, and other compliance services teams
- Provide guidance on AML/CFT/CPF, ABC, reputational risk, and CDD matters, addressing internal inquiries
- Escalate higher-risk business cases to the MLRO, CRCO, or relevant business team members as needed
- Communicate CDD requirements clearly with clients and investors
- Support enhancements to operational processes associated with client and investor CDD for new business
- Comply with core controls and maintain accurate risk management records
- Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams on CDD initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a CDD/client take-on role within a regulated financial services business, particularly within fund services
- Proficiency in handling client due diligence documents and data management systems
- Knowledge of corporate, fiduciary, and fund services structures in Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman, and the UK; familiarity with Luxembourg fund administration is a plus
- Understanding of AML regulations for fiduciary and fund services in key jurisdictions; knowledge of Luxembourg AML regulations is beneficial
- Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn multiple client administration systems
- Ability to comprehend and implement complex procedures across various regulatory requirements and client systems
- Strong organisational skills, capable of handling high volumes of information and presenting data coherently
- Aptitude for improving team procedures and optimising the use of automated and manual controls
- Pragmatic approach to risk management, balancing client service and stakeholder expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
