Job Duties:
- Support the insurance team with client administration, diary management, and workload prioritisation.
- Understand client needs and administer tailored insurance solutions for asset and liability protection.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain a prospect pipeline.
- Secure renewals and manage client portfolios, expanding covers and driving cross/up-selling opportunities.
- Present renewal terms and negotiate sales with clients while ensuring timely premium collection.
- Research insurance policies and negotiate with underwriters to find optimal solutions.
- Prepare presentations, assist with claims management, and provide guidance on claims processes.
- Respond to client queries, ensure accuracy in documentation, and maintain compliance with company procedures.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients, underwriters, and other professionals.
- Promote insurance solutions and provide technical advice within areas of expertise.
- Manage post and diary activities daily in line with company standards.
- Visit clients to discuss and administer their insurance programmes effectively.
- Keep up to date with market developments and foster skills in communication, negotiation, and sales.
- Provide support and cover for absent team members as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in insurance administration and client management.
- Familiarity with IT systems, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and EPIC.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Knowledge of relevant compliance and anti-money laundering procedures.
- Commitment to CPD requirements and staying informed on market developments.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and foster strong client relationships.
