Manager, Fund Administration

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to join their dynamic and fast-paced Fund Services team. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee complex client structures, provide guidance to fund administrators and accountants, and deliver exceptional client service. You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of Jersey fund structures, including limited partnerships, unit trusts, and limited liability companies, while reporting to a Director. Job Duties:

  • Administer a portfolio of fund clients and associated structures, ensuring efficient and high-quality client relationships.
  • Assist with new client proposals, fee quotes, and business pitches.
  • Coordinate client onboarding and transfers, adhering to internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage routine and ad-hoc fund operations, including drawdowns, distributions, and closings.
  • Oversee company secretarial matters, including board meeting preparation and minute distribution.
  • Collaborate with fund accounting teams for financial reporting and audits.
  • Address and escalate client service issues where necessary.
  • Liaise with external service providers such as lawyers, auditors, and banks.
  • Monitor monthly billing processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Act as an authorised signatory for client accounts.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fund administration and company secretarial services.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as chartered secretary, governance, ACCA, or legal credentials.
  • Strong knowledge of Jersey's fund, partnership, company, AML, economic substance, and tax regulations.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks, including foreign tax, fiduciary, and financial crime risks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with specialised software such as PCS (Investran) or Viewpoint is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining CPD levels and staying up to date with regulatory changes.
