Job Duties:
- Develop and execute technology and data strategies aligned with organisational priorities.
- Lead a team of in-house and outsourced resources, fostering a motivated and agile workforce.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency through technology and data.
- Oversee key initiatives, including Registry transformation, finance system integration, and legislative changes.
- Enhance industry data collections and reduce manual efforts to improve regulatory effectiveness.
- Represent the organisation externally, building its reputation for high performance and value for money.
- Contribute to organisational governance as part of the Executive team and engage with the Board.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading technology and data teams, delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders and simplifying complex concepts.
- Expertise in leveraging technology and data to enhance efficiency, regulatory effectiveness, and customer service.
- Gravitas and knowledge to discuss technology, strategy, and organisational change confidently.
- Familiarity with Jersey’s financial services industry and regulatory environment is advantageous but not essential.
- A collaborative and results-driven approach to leadership, focused on team development and organisational success.
