Trust Administrator

Our client is seeking a skilled Trust Administrator to join their established financial and fiduciary services firm in Guernsey. This permanent role is ideal for a STEP or ICSA (part) qualified professional, or someone willing to study towards these qualifications, who will manage a portfolio of private client trust and company structures. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service to clients and intermediaries while ensuring accuracy and compliance across all administrative tasks. 

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage bookkeeping and general administration for a portfolio of trusts and companies.
  • Prepare statutory documentation, including minutes, agreements, and trust instruments.
  • Liaise with clients, intermediaries, and financial institutions to maintain effective relationships.
  • Process payments, distributions, invoices, and investments.
  • Assist with the purchase and sale of investments and properties, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct client due diligence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare client reports and maintain up-to-date investment records.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and adapt to regulatory changes.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in trust and company administration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and reliably.
  • Proficient in prioritising tasks and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • GCSE/O Level qualifications, including English and Mathematics.
  • Studying towards STEP or ICSA qualifications is preferred but not essential.
