Our client is seeking two New Business & Risk Review Officers for temporary contracts until 1 February 2026. Reporting to the Head of New Business & Risk, the role involves safeguarding the organisation by identifying and managing potential risks related to client maintenance. The position requires a deep understanding of the regulatory environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, rules, and guidelines. The role also focuses on providing exceptional client experiences while supporting internal and external stakeholders.
Job Duties:
- Conducting risk reviews for low, medium, and high-risk clients, including the review of documentation, completion of checklists, and performance of relevant searches.
- Ensuring all client documentation meets internal standards, is complete, and is consistent.
- Liaising with Relationship Managers and intermediaries to obtain additional information as required.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date due diligence in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying errors and omissions, stimulating updates to risk assessments or corrective actions as necessary.
- Assisting with FATCA and CRS compliance, including classification reasonableness checks and referrals as needed.
- Monitoring reviews due and outstanding queries, escalating issues as per organisational procedures.
- Supporting Trigger Event reviews and onboarding tasks within the New Business and Risk Team as required.
- Conducting Approved Introducer and Obliged Person risk reviews, providing feedback, and identifying training needs for intermediaries.
- Supporting retrospective Customer Due Diligence (CDD) exercises and rectifying identified errors and omissions.
- Undertaking ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Exposure to managing regulatory risk within a large financial institution.

- Detailed knowledge of account opening, KYC/CDD processes, and risk review procedures.
- In-depth understanding of client structures to facilitate compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FATCA and CRS requirements.
