Our client is seeking a Manager within their Fund Administration team to be based in Jersey on a full-time basis. This role involves managing the administration of a complex portfolio of private capital structures, ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout the life-cycle of each client relationship. The successful candidate will oversee team operations, support business improvement initiatives, and maintain strong client and advisor relationships while contributing to the wider success of the fund administration function.
Job Duties:
- Administer a diverse portfolio of private capital funds, corporates, and related structures
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of client records and data
- Oversee team workflow and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery across all client activity
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to team members and manage appraisals and feedback
- Lead the successful onboarding of new clients and the smooth transition of transferred business
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and advisors, ensuring ongoing responsiveness and support
- Identify and pursue follow-on revenue opportunities in collaboration with senior colleagues
- Participate in internal projects, management meetings and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, workflows and regulatory requirements
- Manage billing processes and liaise with the accounting team to meet client reporting obligations
- Act as an authorised signatory in line with internal policies
- Promote the firm and its services through active industry engagement and profile-raising
Job Requirements:
- Minimum six years’ experience in fund administration, ideally at manager level
- Proven supervisory and leadership skills with experience managing teams
- Strong background in private capital fund structures, including private equity and venture capital
- Experience in company secretarial work within a fund context is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables, including team development and client work
- Strong understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and high attention to detail
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities
- Proficient in managing team performance, billing processes and technical issue resolution
- Meets JFSC Table 4 qualification requirements or holds an equivalent recognised qualification
