Network Operations Administrator

Our client is seeking a Network Operations Administrator to provide vital administrative support for their network. Based in the Jersey office, this full-time role is instrumental in ensuring the organisation and efficiency of asset operations. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management and Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing data, and supporting the technical admin and operations teams to meet business objectives.

 

Job Duties:

  • Provide administrative support for network operations, including purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Update and maintain various spreadsheets, such as plant output, ship planning, CV data, and daily stock reports.
  • Scan and organise operational documents, including round sheets, call-out sheets, and visitor logs.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation of end-of-month statistics.
  • Manage visitor and meeting arrangements.
  • Take phone calls and relay messages promptly.
  • Maintain job records and update systems with relevant information.
  • Support personal welfare processes, including holidays, sickness, and rotas.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies in all activities.
  • Identify opportunities for improving processes, performance, and productivity.
  • Stay updated on technical innovations relevant to operational and administrative tasks.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to observe the company's Data Protection Policy.
  • Problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively within a team.
  • Professional and responsive to client needs.
  • Commitment to health and safety responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
  • Experience delivering quality outcomes within a continuous improvement culture.
  • Customer service experience in the utilities or similar industry.
