Our client is seeking a Transfer Agency professional to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role can be appointed at either Senior or Administrator level, depending on experience. Unlike private equity administration roles, this position specifically requires candidates with experience in real estate or property funds. The successful candidate will support the set-up, onboarding, and ongoing transfer agency administration for clients, ensuring services align with service level agreements and regulatory requirements. This role involves processing transactions, maintaining investor records, liaising with external stakeholders, and contributing to system improvements.
Job Duties:
- Process and validate trades for a range of complex offshore funds.
- Maintain shareholder registers and investor files.
- Prepare and distribute shareholder statements and investment management reports.
- Reconcile cash accounts daily.
- Prepare, process, and check fund distributions to meet fund-specific deadlines.
- Respond to investor and client queries within agreed timeframes.
- Complete fund, trustee, client, and internal reporting.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist with the preparation of fee billing in line with agreed timelines.
- Work closely with external parties such as fund managers, auditors, custodians, depositaries, and service providers.
- Support management with transfer agency system developments, including testing and feedback.
- Contribute to regulatory reporting, including FATCA and AEOI compliance.
- Maintain and update procedures to ensure an effective control framework.
- Provide cover for colleagues and assist with training new staff.
- Support the onboarding of new business, ensuring processes and documentation align with client requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in transfer agency, with a strong understanding of property funds.
- Knowledge of offshore fund compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Word, and OneNote.
- Experience using MultiFonds TA or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required.
- Commitment to continuous professional development (25 hours CPD annually).
