Our client is seeking a Temporary Associate to support the Group Finance function within the FP&A team for a 12-month contract. You will work directly with the Associate Director, FP&A, and assist with the delivery of timely, accurate, and relevant reporting and analytics to senior leadership. This role will be integral in strengthening ongoing reporting and analyses, as well as supporting initiatives in the company’s digital transformation programme.
Job Duties:
- Support the production and delivery of timely and accurate monthly and quarterly management reporting to senior leadership, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and KPI tracking
- Collaborate with Financial Accounting & Control colleagues to ensure accurate cost allocation against the budget in the accounting system, facilitating efficient reporting and analysis
- Assist in the delivery of the group’s budgeting and reforecasting processes, working closely with budget owners across Investment Partnerships and Corporate functions
- Contribute to the group’s liquidity monitoring and cash flow forecasting process
- Maintain and develop the group-wide cost allocation model
- Assist with the development of KPIs and forecasting models for the group and its investment partnerships
- Support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives within the finance team
- Provide ad-hoc business analysis and project work as required
Job Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years PQE
- Experience in a busy finance team, preferably with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, macros) and experience with accounting/ERP systems; working knowledge of SunSystems and data visualisation tools is advantageous
- Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Comfortable working with large data sets and skilled in extracting value from data to provide insightful analysis for senior leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Superb organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
