Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their Private Client Services team. This role involves providing comprehensive trust and company administration services for an international client base, managing a complex portfolio, and supporting the development of junior team members. The successful candidate will also assist in financial reporting and operational management.
Job Duties:
- Administer a complex client portfolio, including Trusts, Companies, Foundations, and Limited Partnerships
- Maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, clients, and advisors
- Support and mentor junior team members, assisting with their training and development
- Manage billing and debt collection processes for client portfolios
- Conduct initial and final reviews of working papers and financial statements
- Oversee asset acquisition, monitoring, and disposal in line with procedures
- Prepare complex correspondence and board/trustee minutes, and review team members’ work as required
- Conduct periodic client file reviews for compliance and accuracy
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the team and preparation of financial reports
Job Requirements:
- CGI/STEP Diploma or equivalent, or studying towards a professional qualification
- Alternatively, a qualified accountant or a relevant professional qualification
- Minimum of five years' relevant experience
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Experience in management and people development
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
