Our client is seeking a Temporary Compliance Monitoring Officer for a 6-month contract to support the compliance team during a period of increased workload. This role will involve assisting with general compliance administration, including AML reviews, sanctions screening, and compliance monitoring programme (CMP) testing. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in compliance processes and regulatory requirements while working closely with the Compliance Team Leader.
Job Duties:
- Conduct periodic AML client risk and file reviews in line with company policies.
- Log required actions and complete 3 to 4 reviews per day.
- Assist with sanction screening of new and existing clients, using Dow Jones, Google searches, and Themis Screening.
- Review screening alerts weekly and ensure completion within 48 hours.
- Perform compliance monitoring programme (CMP) testing and log findings.
- Complete one CMP test per week, as required.
- Monitor compliance and sanctions inboxes, responding to queries as necessary.
- Maintain and update compliance registers.
- Carry out other administrative duties as required to support the compliance team.
