Our client is seeking a skilled Senior AML Administrator to provide AML support, ensuring a seamless and compliant onboarding process for clients. This role involves managing AML processes, conducting due diligence, and providing regulatory guidance while supporting internal teams with training and development.
Job Duties:
- Implement and manage AML processes, including due diligence reviews for new investors, complex structures, and periodic reviews of existing investors.
- Provide guidance and support on regulatory and AML matters, assisting with business-related AML queries.
- Conduct open-source searches to gather further information on prospective clients and investors.
- Review and analyse initial and ongoing screening checks, escalating matters where necessary.
- Collate CDD statistics and prepare AML reports for Boards and Senior Management.
- Provide training and support to junior team members to aid their development.
- Collaborate with internal client teams to enhance AML knowledge and awareness.
- Contribute to improving AML processes and participate in projects to strengthen controls.
- Undertake any other AML-related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in an AML role, ideally within financial services.
- Professional compliance qualification.
- Strong understanding of AML regulations, including the application of the 3 Tier Test and the JFSC AML/CFT/CPF Handbook requirements.
- Knowledge of key risk areas and the application of enhanced due diligence.
- Strong administrative, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently when required.
- An inquisitive mindset with the ability to assess issues, identify implications, and make recommendations.
- A positive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to collaborate.
