Our client is seeking a Senior Corporate and Fund Accountant to support the client accounting team manager and senior management. This role involves working across fund and corporate structures, including real estate SPV accounting, complex acquisitions, sales, refinancing transactions, and fund accounting across various asset classes. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with client constitutional documentation and regulatory requirements while contributing to a dynamic and growing team.
Job Duties:
- Undertake bookkeeping for a portfolio of entities, including Limited Partnerships, General Partners, and Corporate SPVs.
- Conduct full, detailed reviews of own work prior to submission for review.
- Manage client accounting tasks, progressing to more complex cases as expertise develops.
- Assist with the preparation of periodic financial reporting and management accounts.
- Support the annual audit process, including the preparation of financial statements.
- Assist with capital call and distribution workings and notices where applicable.
- Aid in the billing process, including drafting and raising quarterly invoices.
- Assist with matters relating to tax, capital allowances, corporate tax, and non-resident landlord tax.
- Undertake ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the Client Accounting Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CIMA).
- Experience with accounting software such as Viewpoint or Investran (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to self-review work and ensure accuracy.
- High integrity, discretion, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive team environment.
