IT Administrator

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to join their busy team on the Isle of Man. This is a full-time, permanent position working closely with the Operations Manager to optimise systems performance, support data integration, and enhance overall business processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing software platforms, system configurations, and providing technical support across the organisation.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as a point of contact for IT support, resolving hardware, software, and infrastructure issues
  • Perform user administration including password resets, account management, and licence assignments using Entra ID
  • Build, configure, and deploy new devices with appropriate applications and settings
  • Provide efficient helpdesk support and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain IT documentation including procedures, asset registers, and user guides
  • Troubleshoot basic networking issues and liaise with external providers for advanced support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure IT systems meet operational needs
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing staff
  • Assist with IT projects such as telephony upgrades, network enhancements, and Intune deployments
  • Maintain documentation and enforce IT best practices
  • Monitor IT trends and make improvement recommendations
  • Assist with the procurement, deployment, and management of IT equipment and software

Job Requirements:

  • Strong IT knowledge and practical experience in system administration and user support
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Good understanding of network infrastructure and software platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest IT trends and developments
