Fund Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This role involves managing all aspects of fund accounting for a diverse portfolio of international clients, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivery of high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting and financial reporting, with experience across real estate, private equity, or other alternative asset sectors. This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where high standards and client satisfaction are paramount.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee all fund accounting matters, including the preparation and review of financial statements and investor reporting
  • Ensure timely delivery of quarterly and annual reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Liaise with auditors, administrators, and other third parties to coordinate audit and reporting processes
  • Manage day-to-day client accounting requirements and maintain accurate records in line with best practices
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory obligations and internal policies
  • Support the onboarding of new fund structures and contribute to the design of efficient accounting workflows
  • Assist with cash management and investor capital activity including calls and distributions
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and ensure ongoing training and development
  • Review and improve internal processes, identifying areas for automation and efficiency gains
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders by delivering responsive and solution-focused service

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fund accounting, ideally within real estate, private equity, or similar sectors
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP and fund reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with fund structures, investor reporting, and capital call/distribution processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Leadership experience with the ability to support and mentor others
