Our client is seeking a Group Finance and Operations Director to join them on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Chairman, this is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing financial strategy, operational performance, and infrastructure development across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will ensure alignment, compliance, and scalability across the group’s international offices, with a focus on delivering sustainable growth, efficient service delivery, and robust financial integrity.
Job Duties:
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies across the group to ensure long-term sustainability and profitability
- Oversee consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for all jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with international financial regulations, tax laws, and fiduciary standards
- Manage group-wide audits and liaise with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions
- Standardise operational processes across all offices to enhance efficiency, service delivery, and compliance
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs across jurisdictions, providing consistent reporting to leadership
- Develop and implement group-wide policies, procedures, and operational controls
- Drive improvements in service levels and support business development initiatives with scalable operations
- Lead the integration and strategic development of group infrastructure, including IT systems and facilities
- Implement technology solutions that support fiduciary compliance, data security, and automation
- Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations relating to infrastructure
- Lead business continuity, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery planning efforts
Job Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA)
- Significant experience within a private equity environment overseeing financial services investee companies
- Experience managing a multi-jurisdictional trust or fiduciary company, or relevant experience in M&A relating to trust companies
- Strong expertise in infrastructure planning and IT/operational system implementation
- Solid understanding of fiduciary obligations, compliance requirements, and global regulatory frameworks
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead high-level strategic and operational initiatives across international teams
- Disciplined, analytical, and proactive in approach to both financial and operational matters
