Consultant, Private Equity

Our client is seeking a Consultant to join their Private Capital Administration team on a full-time basis. Based in Guernsey, this role involves delivering a high standard of fund administration and client service across a diverse portfolio of private equity clients. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, fund directors, and internal departments to manage cash, investor, and investment activities. This is a varied and hands-on role that offers exposure to a wide range of fund structures and strategies, requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively to meet deliverables.

Job Duties:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fund directors, internal teams, and other third parties
• Develop a thorough understanding of internal systems, client expectations, and fund structures
• Process banking transactions and invoice payments as part of cash management responsibilities
• Manage investor-related activities including calls, distributions, transfers, queries, and reporting
• Oversee investment-related activities including processing new investments, follow-ons, and divestments
• Organise and attend board meetings, prepare board packs, and draft minutes
• Complete periodic and onboarding KYC/CDD for investors in line with compliance requirements
• Ensure timely execution of assigned tasks and regularly update management on progress
• Provide support to team members to ensure all client deliverables are met
• Contribute to ad hoc departmental projects as required

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in fund administration, company secretarial work, or banking
• Strong customer service skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A collaborative team player with a proactive and positive approach
