Our client is seeking an Investor Relations Officer to join their organisation on a permanent, full-time basis. This position sits within the Investor Relations team and involves close collaboration with clients, investors, and operational teams across multiple jurisdictions. You will play a key role in responding to investor queries, maintaining accurate records, supporting accounting and tax-related communications, and ensuring compliance with legal documentation and investor requirements.
Job Duties:
- Liaise directly with investors and clients to manage and resolve queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor investor query mailboxes and manage incoming requests using the internal query management system
- Upload and distribute investor reporting and notices via relevant portals and communication channels
- Coordinate with Fund Administration teams to ensure accurate and timely distribution of capital statements, drawdowns, distributions, quarterly reports and ad hoc correspondence
- Track investor responses and maintain a reliable record of communications
- Respond to investor accounting queries and liaise with Fund Accounting teams to address matters such as fee calculations, capital statements, audit confirmations and other technical queries
- Assist with investor tax reporting by coordinating with tax advisers and internal teams to produce and maintain a tax monitoring framework
- Monitor compliance with legal documentation including Side Letters, Limited Partnership Agreements and other fund-related legal requirements
- Maintain controls to ensure the Fund Administration and Accounting teams meet all legal deliverables within the required timeframe
- Support investor onboarding, including coordinating KYC requests, admissions, and transfers, liaising with lawyers and compliance teams
- Provide cover for the static data team, including monitoring mailboxes and managing data change requests via internal systems
- Ensure accurate maintenance of investor static data in accordance with service level agreements
Job Requirements:
- Sound problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise high volumes of time-sensitive tasks
- Confident using a variety of systems and technology platforms
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other internal teams
- Prior experience in private equity and fund administration
- Good understanding of fund structures and the private equity industry (desirable)
- A recognised accountancy or relevant qualification such as ACCA, ACA or ICSA (desirable)
- Willingness to meet annual CPD requirements as part of regulatory obligations
