Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to join their Fund Administration department on a full-time, permanent basis. The role will focus on supporting the implementation and growth of their fund administration services in Jersey, with a particular emphasis on private equity and venture capital structures. The postholder will lead a team, manage key client relationships, and help drive continuous improvement across operational practices.
Job Duties:
- Lead and mentor a team of fund administrators while fostering strong working relationships across departments
- Act as the first point of contact for a select portfolio of fund structures and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
- Oversee daily fund administration operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal best practice
- Manage workload allocation, investor correspondence, and regulatory reporting
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and ISAE checklists for client services and statutory filings
- Act as an “A” level 4-eyes signatory on administration matters and oversee the audit process for clients
- Build strong relationships with auditors and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives using lean management tools
- Promote and utilise core systems and existing technology to uphold service delivery standards
Job Requirements:
- Substantial experience within the Jersey funds industry
- In-depth knowledge of Jersey domiciled funds, including JPFs, closed-ended structures, and regulated fund service businesses
- Previous experience working with venture capital or fund-of-funds structures
- Relevant professional qualification (CGI, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) preferred
- At least 5 years in a managerial role within fund administration
- Proven ability to manage complex fund structures and demanding client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high service standards
- Demonstrated leadership, management, and influencing skills
