Our client is seeking a Manager to join the Employer Solutions department within the Institutional Client Services division on a permanent, full-time basis. This hybrid role involves the proactive oversight of client and risk-focused divisional operations and projects. You will lead client service delivery, support team strategy and performance, and develop new business opportunities while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties:
- Oversee and support the day-to-day operations of the division, ensuring a high standard of client service
- Manage new business onboarding, including due diligence analysis and take-on procedures
- Analyse team performance to inform strategic planning and align divisional goals with overall Group KPIs
- Oversee billing, fee collection, debtor management, and income tracking for client portfolios
- Maintain and grow client relationships, arranging regular engagement and meetings
- Act as “Client Services Director” for selected client entities
- Ensure strong corporate governance and compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
- Participate in internal business development meetings, identifying opportunities to grow the client portfolio
- Manage new business enquiries and pricing, clearly presenting the Group’s service offerings
- Attend client and introducer meetings, including travel outside the Channel Islands when required
- Retain and enhance existing client relationships, advisers, and introducers through value-added services
- Oversee the review of complex structures and manage associated risks
- Guide the team in identifying and reporting unusual transactions, adhering to AML legislation
- Ensure team compliance with JFSC codes of conduct and in-house procedures
- Support team development through coaching, mentoring, and regular performance reviews
- Conduct appraisals and interim reviews for senior team members, setting and monitoring SMART objectives
- Lead team meetings, ensuring communication of key developments
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge through CPD in accordance with qualification requirements
- Promote and embody the organisation’s core values and stakeholder culture
Job Requirements:
- Strong project management capabilities
- Proven client management experience
- Background in employee incentive plans
- Experience conducting customer due diligence
- Ability to meet internal deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Relevant professional qualification
