Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Client Services to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This pivotal role can be based in either Jersey or Guernsey, with occasional travel to the UK, Paris, and Lisbon. With five direct reports, the role will lead the client services function and play a key part in delivering high-quality support across the organisation’s custody, fund accounting, and private capital offerings. A housing licence can be offered for Jersey-based candidates; for Guernsey, preference will be given to those already residing or working on the island.
Job Duties:
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing client services team
- Maintain and enhance strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure consistent, high-quality client service across jurisdictions
- Manage capacity effectively in a client-driven environment
- Collaborate closely with other departments to support growth and client retention
- Contribute subject-matter expertise in custody, fund accounting, or private capital
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and client satisfaction
- Oversee prioritisation, conflict resolution and overall service coordination
- Build and execute a strategic plan for the team going into 2026
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior client services leadership role
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams
- Expertise in global custody, fund accounting, or private capital is highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external
- Strategic thinker with strong project management capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, results-driven, and confident in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to travel internationally 1–2 times per year
