Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Trust Administrator to join their private client services team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the trust and fiduciary services sector. The successful candidate will support the administration of a portfolio of trusts and companies, working under the guidance of more senior team members in a supportive and professional environment.
Job Duties:
- Support the administration of trust and company structures under supervision
- Prepare payment packs and process payments
- Assist with bookkeeping and the preparation of accounts under guidance
- Scan and collate documents for new investments and accounts
- Communicate professionally with intermediaries via email, letter, and telephone
- Assist with client reporting and internal documentation
- Complete daily timesheets
- Contribute to achieving chargeability, WIP, recoverability, and debtor targets
- Apply internal risk management and compliance procedures
- Develop relationships with clients and service providers
- Learn client needs and schedules to anticipate and support future requests
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Good administrative and numeracy skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under time pressure
- Flexible, with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Curious and proactive in seeking information and understanding structures
- Willing to ask questions and escalate issues appropriately
- Aware of decision-making limits and responsible when handling information
- A team-oriented approach
