Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Finance division on a permanent basis. This hybrid role involves responsibility for the monthly management reporting of the US and Caribbean entities, as well as the preparation of interim and year-end financial statements. You will ensure all outputs meet relevant accounting standards while managing audits, tax reporting, and line management responsibilities.
Job Duties:
- Prepare monthly management results for the US and Caribbean entities, adhering to strict internal reporting deadlines
- Prepare annual financial statements in line with relevant reporting standards
- Manage interim reviews and year-end audits, acting as a key point of contact for auditors
- Perform bookkeeping and salary reconciliations for the US group
- Liaise with external tax consultants to complete consolidated US tax returns
- Prepare quarterly and annual Bureau of Economic Analysis returns for submission to the U.S. Department of Commerce
- Manage and mentor a Senior Accounts Officer
- Conduct four-eye reviews of month-end management accounts for the ICS division
- Contribute to the year-end budgeting process
- Ensure compliance with all risk and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering legislation
- Carry out any other duties as required by management
Job Requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Proven experience in line management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
