Our client is seeking a Company Secretary on a temporary basis from the end of July to mid-October. This full-time role is ideal for a professional with previous co-sec experience who can provide immediate support and ensure continuity of statutory compliance and governance processes during a period of leave cover.
Job Duties:
- Maintain statutory records for a portfolio of entities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date registers
- Prepare board and committee meeting agendas, packs, minutes and resolutions
- File annual returns, confirmation statements and other statutory filings with relevant authorities
- Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings as required
- Liaise with directors, senior stakeholders and service providers to coordinate governance matters
- Ensure company secretarial procedures are aligned with current legislation and best practices
- Provide guidance on corporate governance issues and assist with any ad hoc secretarial requests
- Support transactional activity, such as incorporations, dissolutions or changes to structure
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a company secretarial role, ideally within a regulated environment
- Strong working knowledge of statutory requirements and corporate governance best practices
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and minute-taking
- Ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive tasks effectively
- ICSA or CGI qualification (or working towards) is desirable
