Trainee Fiduciary Administrator

Our client is seeking a Trainee Fiduciary Administrator to join their Guernsey-based team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this entry-level role involves supporting the administration of trust and corporate structures. You will assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, ensure accurate record-keeping, and contribute to a high standard of client service while gaining valuable experience in a professional fiduciary environment.

Job Duties:

  • Process client transactions as requested by team members
  • Maintain accurate client records, including database updates, scanning and filing
  • Prepare statutory filings with the Guernsey Registry and other relevant registries
  • Collect and maintain Customer Due Diligence documentation
  • Assist with the opening of client bank accounts
  • Input bank payments using online platforms
  • Ensure all work is conducted in line with internal procedures and regulatory guidelines
  • Prepare client correspondence for review and approval
  • Draft board minutes and resolutions for approval
  • Record and manage time effectively on a daily basis
  • Complete timesheets daily with accurate and detailed information
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks as required

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, manage workload, and work effectively under pressure
  • Proactive and motivated team player with a flexible approach
  • Understanding of local regulatory requirements or willingness to learn
  • Willingness to take responsibility and deliver high-quality service
  • Ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and accuracy in all work
  • Awareness of the importance of compliance and client confidentiality
