Our client is seeking a Risk Reviewer to join their Guernsey-based fiduciary services business on a temporary 6-month contract. Reporting to the Trust Manager, this role is responsible for conducting periodic reviews within the trust department, ensuring all client files are risk-rated and compliant with regulatory requirements. You will play a key part in assessing client risk, monitoring business activities, and supporting the broader compliance framework.
Job Duties:
- Carry out client risk ratings and ensure appropriate levels of screening are conducted in line with legislation and internal policies
- Monitor client activity and ensure adherence to codes of practice, Guernsey laws and regulations, and internal compliance procedures
- Review customer due diligence (CDD) to ensure documentation is complete, current, and meets local and company standards
- Identify and manage potential risks or breaches appropriately
- Assist with ad hoc duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with sound knowledge of trust and company law and fiduciary principles
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements within Guernsey and ideally other relevant jurisdictions
- Possession of or studying towards a relevant trust or compliance qualification
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently with accuracy and to deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking and risk awareness
- Self-motivated and a good team player
- Strong computer literacy
