Fund Accountant

Our client is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their growing fund administration team on a permanent full-time basis. This is a highly numerical role that will involve the day-to-day administration and accounting of fund structures across a diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and dynamic team, supporting fund services in multiple jurisdictions and across varied sectors.

Job Duties:

• Assist with calls, distributions, quarterly valuations, management accounts and investor reporting
• Prepare annual statements for funds, management companies and related structures
• Oversee bookkeeping and perform periodic bank reconciliations
• Manage client audits and ensure timely delivery of audit requirements
• Prepare and review manual and electronic payment instructions for entity expenses and investment transactions
• Complete NAV calculations
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries
• Proactively manage client expectations and delivery timeframes
• Support the senior manager in effectively leading the financial accounting team

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in financial services
• Professionally qualified, ideally ACCA or ACA
• Sound technical knowledge of financial services and fund structures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and accounting systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities
