Senior Fund Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their dedicated fund administration team on a permanent full-time basis. The role involves the day-to-day administration and accounting of a variety of fund structures across multiple jurisdictions and sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a professionally qualified individual with relevant experience to join a collaborative and fast-growing team, with scope to develop their skills further and take on leadership responsibilities.

Job Duties:

• Assist with calls, distributions, quarterly valuations, management accounts and investor reporting
• Prepare annual statements for funds, management companies and related structures
• Oversee bookkeeping and prepare periodic bank reconciliations
• Manage client audits and ensure timely completion
• Prepare and review payment instructions and maintain accurate transaction records
• Complete NAV calculations and review financial statements
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and intermediaries
• Manage client expectations and delivery deadlines effectively
• Support the senior manager in overseeing and developing the financial accounting team

Job Requirements:

• Professionally qualified, preferably ACCA or ACA
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial services
• Strong technical knowledge of fund structures and financial services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in accounting systems
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
