Temporary Periodic File Reviewer - 12 months

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-focused Temp Periodic File Reviewer to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term, full-time basis. This is a critical role supporting the organisation’s AML and compliance functions by delivering high-quality customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring across corporate, trustee and individual clients. The successful candidate will provide assurance through scheduled and trigger event reviews, working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure regulatory standards are met and operational risks are effectively managed.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct risk-based reviews of customer files, ensuring CDD and AML requirements are met
  • Analyse individual and corporate structures using relevant documentation and investigation tools
  • Perform transaction monitoring and escalate any concerns appropriately
  • Check and approve risk profile assessments and ensure enhanced due diligence is applied where required
  • Update customer profiles, escalate data or documentation gaps, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with the development and enhancement of operational procedures and reports
  • Support compliance testing and ensure all reviews and testing are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with internal operational and compliance teams in Guernsey and other jurisdictions
  • Participate in system development, testing, and related projects, ensuring operational procedures align
  • Contribute to maintaining a culture of risk awareness and compliance with corporate governance standards

Job Requirements:

  • Ideally 3 years’ experience in the finance industry with strong knowledge of CDD and AML processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to work independently with a proactive, improvement-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and customer data systems
  • Experience in assessing customer risk, including complex corporate structures
  • Understanding of local and international regulatory requirements
