Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Family Office team in Guernsey on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is responsible for the administration of a portfolio of multi-jurisdictional trusts and companies. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across different jurisdictions, as well as external contacts, to ensure exceptional client service.
Job Duties:
- Administer all aspects of trust and company structures in line with procedures and regulations
- Manage the workflow and priorities for a designated portfolio of entities
- Liaise with clients and intermediaries, preparing relevant documentation including minutes and resolutions
- Open and maintain bank accounts, prepare payment instructions, and review financial statements
- Arrange and review trust and company investments, ensuring follow-up actions are implemented
- Maintain accurate company and trust records, including due diligence, in compliance with AML standards
- Submit daily timesheets and maintain accurate records of time spent
- Demonstrate technical understanding and commercial awareness in trust-related transactions
- Support and guide junior team members as required
- Contribute to risk mitigation and ensure legal and regulatory compliance
- Participate in ad hoc projects as directed
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4–5 years' experience in trust and company administration
- Qualified or part-qualified STEP or ICSA
- Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge of trust structures
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with clients and senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills with a sense of ownership and commitment to client service
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and risk mitigation
- Knowledge of UK and South African tax planning beneficial
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused
