Our client is seeking a Security Access Analyst to join their IT Security team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience to take ownership of access processes, develop their technical expertise, and contribute to the secure and efficient management of user access across systems and applications.
Job Duties:
- Support the joiners/movers/leavers process to ensure timely provisioning, modification, or removal of access rights
- Assist in enforcing the Principle of Least Privilege through access reviews and permission adjustments
- Contribute to access audits and utilise automated tools to facilitate periodic access reviews
- Help define RBAC roles and permissions in line with business requirements
- Identify and recommend improvements to access processes and internal controls
Job Requirements:
- A Level or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Support and 1+ years working in network or Cloud IAM roles, including experience with Role-Based Access Control
- Experience with identity platforms such as Active Directory or Entra ID (Azure AD); knowledge of LDAP, SSO, and MFA is advantageous
- Analytical mind-set with the ability to assess risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Good understanding of access management solutions and identity protocols
- Strong data analysis skills to identify and address security risks
- Awareness of regulatory frameworks impacting access controls, including PCI-DSS and GDPR
