Senior Trust Administrator

Our client is seeking a Senior Trust Administrator to join their Private Wealth team in Jersey. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity suited to an experienced trust professional with a proven ability to manage complex international fiduciary structures. The successful candidate will support Client Directors in proactively managing client entities from the late onboarding stage through to full structure life cycle, ensuring service delivery remains aligned with internal policies, procedures, and the highest industry standards.

Job Duties:

  • Support proactive management and maintenance of client entities throughout their full life cycle.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate data and records for all entities in line with policy and procedural standards.
  • Deliver client work in accordance with our client’s values, service expectations, and performance KPIs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and third parties, both verbally and in writing, demonstrating professionalism and cultural awareness.
  • Assist with fiduciary decision-making, preparing well-considered case material for governance forums.
  • Liaise effectively with third-party service providers to support client needs and build strong relationships.
  • Accurately record time to support utilisation and profitability goals, applying appropriate commercial judgement.
  • Conduct reviews and workflows, addressing findings promptly and sharing learning with colleagues.
  • Resolve risk review actions and ensure all regulatory filings are completed accurately and within deadlines.
  • Mentor junior members of the Client Management and Administration team, setting a positive example.
  • Identify and escalate cross-sell opportunities to Client Directors.
  • Act as a nominated alternate where required, maintaining shared knowledge across client structures.
  • Support internal projects and contribute to wider business initiatives.
  • Act as an authorised signatory within approved limits.
  • Maintain CPD and technical awareness relevant to the role.
  • Travel occasionally, depending on workload and client needs.

Job Requirements:

  • 5–10 years’ experience working with high-net-worth international families.
  • Strong understanding of fiduciary structures and associated challenges.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex international trusts and companies.
  • Confidence in working alongside external industry professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of local trust and company legislation and regulatory obligations.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of asset classes, including investments and property.
  • Excellent knowledge of KYC, AML, CFT, and GDPR regulations.
  • Experience working with NavOne and document management systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Sound judgement, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to risk management.
  • STEP, ICSA, Accountancy, or Legal qualification.
