Group Head of Client Accounting & Tax

Our client is seeking a dynamic Group Head of Client Accounting & Tax for a Director-level role that encompasses strategic direction and operational excellence across client accounting and tax compliance services in multiple jurisdictions. This pivotal position is designed for a highly experienced and technically accomplished professional who can lead large teams and deliver outstanding service to complex corporate and private wealth structures. Job Duties:

• Provide strategic, operational, and technical leadership across the Group’s client accounting and tax teams.
• Define and lead the long-term vision and strategy for client accounting and tax compliance services.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of financial outputs, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional and regulatory requirements.
• Implement performance metrics to drive efficiency and risk mitigation across the Group.
• Lead the Group’s response to evolving regulatory frameworks while managing relationships with regulators and tax authorities.
• Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within cross-jurisdictional teams.
• Act as a key ambassador for the function, representing client accounting and tax compliance services at leadership forums and client meetings.

Job Requirements:

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW).
• Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) or equivalent tax qualification is essential.
• Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role in multi-jurisdictional contexts.
• Deep knowledge of financial reporting, international tax legislation, and fiduciary operations across various regulated jurisdictions.
