Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund & Investment Administrator to join their team, a leading financial and fiduciary services provider based in Guernsey. This permanent role involves a comprehensive range of fund and investment administration duties, catering to a diverse clientele including private individuals, companies, and intermediaries. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a contract length starting immediately and a work schedule from 09:00 to 17:00, including a one-hour lunch break.
Job Duties:
- Execute trade orders and payments efficiently.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and perform reconciliations.
- Conduct client risk reviews and assessments.
- Manage various internal spreadsheets and accounting systems.
- Oversee CDD/AML collection, review, and supply.
- Calculate and report fund valuations for schemes in Guernsey and the Cayman Islands.
- Facilitate shareholder transactions and liaise with fund custodians and auditors.
- Prepare compliance and regulatory returns.
- Assist with project work as required, ensuring high standards are met.
- Monitor and allocate tasks from the central email inbox.
- Provide oversight and leadership to team members.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in funds and/or investments.
- Strong numeracy skills accompanied by excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Advanced spreadsheet knowledge, particularly in Excel, including the ability to write formulas.
- Familiarity with the offshore investment environment and tax issues.
- Understanding of securities and banking settlement processes.
- Strong PC literacy, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
