Banking, Technical Specialist

Our client is seeking a Banking, Technical Specialist with expertise in banking practices and knowledge of Basel III standards. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in identifying and managing various banking risks, including liquidity, market, and credit risks. This role will involve engaging in complex activities related to financial analysis, risk management, treasury, compliance, and trading.

Job Duties:

• Identify and analyse risks associated with banking operations.
• Implement strategies for managing liquidity, market, and credit risks.
• Conduct financial analyses to support risk management initiatives.
• Oversee treasury functions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on multi-dimensional projects that require discretion and confidentiality.
• Engage in activities that may set precedents impacting services or programmes delivered by the organisation.

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Basel III standards and banking operations.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, risk management, treasury, compliance, or trading.
• Ability to manage sensitive and impactful projects affecting multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
