Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join their Banking and Insurance Division, responsible for the prudential and conduct supervision of financial firms licensed in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to participate in shaping the regulatory landscape while enhancing the region's international financial reputation. Job Duties:
- Ensure the Commission delivers effective prudential, financial crime, and conduct regulation within the Bailiwick.
- Engage with industry stakeholders to facilitate innovation and discourage subpar ventures.
- Assist in implementing PRISM risk-based supervision and policy development.
- Monitor developments in legislation, maintaining relationships with licensees and evaluating their compliance.
- Plan and draft consultation papers, including summarising feedback and communicating with stakeholders.
- Conduct research, analyse sector trends, and present findings to inform policy decisions.
- Prepare and lead on-site visits, compiling data and feedback for discussion.
- Draft policy proposals and assist with regulatory communications and special assignments.
- Represent the Commission both locally and internationally, conducting training and workshops as needed.
