Banking & Insurance, Technical Specialist, Supervision

Our client is recruiting for a Technical Specialist (Banking) to join their division due to team expansion. The successful candidate will specialise in banking over insurance and will possess a suitable level of expertise garnered from time in the industry. This position involves joining an existing team of supervisors to identify and manage risks associated with banking licence holders.

Job Duties:

  • Specialise in banking activities with a focus on risk management.
  • Engage in financial analysis, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance.
  • Participate in treasury functions and support trading activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and mitigate risks of banking licencees.
  • Contribute to multi-dimensional projects that have broad implications for the organisation.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in banking, particularly in roles involving financial analysis or risk management.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements for banking licence holders.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, impactful activities within the banking sector.
